AMERICAN MAJESTY
This is a new Limited Edition release from a painting created by DAVID LLOYD GLOVER
Glover has been best known for his works in watercolor and he has employed his mastery of the medium in his new series of wildlife images. The American Bald Eagle is the official symbol of the United States of American and was proclaimed such in 1782. Since then the species very survival has become endangered. The great bird has no natural predators except from the encroachment of our development on its habitat. THis magnificent bird is shown here at the moment before a dive on its prey.

Glover became fascinated by the Bald Eagle while living and working in his studio in Lions Bay, British Columbia. High up on the slopes of Coastal range of mountains an American Bald Eagle's nest was at the top of the old Douglas fir tree right outside his studio window. From this vantage point the Eagle had a commmanding view of the ocean inlet that leads from the Strait of Georgia up to Squamish British Columbia. Glover was inspired by the sound of the 7 foot wing span of this enormous bird as it set off from its nest in search of it's prey.

There are two versions of the limited edition. Edition one is printed on d'Arches paper to match the original look and feel of the watercolor. 50/50 signed and numbered editions are now released.
